30 years ago, a man had an idea.  He wanted to create the world’s best tasting tamal.  He knew that in order to achieve this, the tamal had to be prepared by hand and also use only the freshest ingredients.

Several years later this man’s idea and dream finally became a reality and on January 1978, a man by the name of Jose Reyes opened Pepe’s Tamales in El Paso, Texas.
